"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."  (Joshua 1:9)

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."  (1 Corinthians 13:11)

Today we have a lot of men that look like men, but still act like children.  What does it mean to be a man?  In our men's group and ministry we look at what the Bible says a man should be.  Jesus is calling men to relinquish control and hand over the reigns to Him in our lives, homes, jobs, marriages, and churches.

Being a man of God doesn't mean handing over your man card. Actually you trade the man card you have now for one crowned with glory.  By submitting to the will of God doesn't mean you give up freedom, on the contrary, it means you can walk in freedom as the Lord guides your footsteps and leads you to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.  (See the Events calendar for activities)
